Terms of reference of Foreign Loans Supervision Office

1. Expert review and decision making on the requests of executing agencies for extension of loan's validity or any amendment in loan agreement terms.

2. Review and study of legal agreements of foreign loans and credits which are borrowed for implementation of developmental (profit making/non- profit making) projects in order to supervising the use of the proceeds of loans and credits.

3. Cooperation with and give guidance to the borrower ministries and institutions on proper and in time usage of the proceeds of loans and credits, preparation and filling out of the relating forms for disbursements of loans proceeds.

4. Preparation and make all the necessary arrangements for repayments of principal and interests of foreign loans and credits.

5. Supervision over the use and repayment of the loans and credits which have been lent.

6. Supervision and oversee the fulfilling of loans agreements and decision making on the issues and problems arising during the implementation of the projects.

7. Receipt of installments of the principals and interests of the granted loans and investment profit.

8. Supervision over receipt of the principal and interests of those agreements contracted between the Ministry of economic Affairs and Finance relating the advance repayments of foreign loans and maintenance of their accounts.

9.  Participation in negotiation/discussing meeting, local and foreign seminars and conferences.
