The Secretariat of the National Investment Council

In reference  to Note 2 of Article 7 of the amendment to a number of articles in the Fourth Plan of the Economic, Social and Cultural Development Law of I.R. Iran as well as the execution of the general policies governing Article 44 of the Iranian Constitution, it has been decided that the grievances and complaints of the applying investors will be looked into in a meeting presided over by the Governor General or his deputy for planning and with the attendance of the heads of the organizations of mines and industries, agricultural jihad, labor and social affairs, commerce, economic affairs and finance and the departments of cooperatives and environment organizations of every province.

The last paragraph of the above-mentioned note states: “in case the applicant is informed that his/her proposed projects need to be approved by the organizations from outside the province, he/she may raise an objection which will be investigated in a board comprised of the deputies of the respective above-mentioned organizations headed by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance or his deputy in a way stipulated in the note”.

Under the aforesaid law and according to the determined legal obligation, the secretariat has been formed in the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) and correspondences were made by the respective organizations in order to name the fully-authorized representatives to attend the meetings of the afore-mentioned board.

The meetings are to be held with the attendance of the representatives from the respective organizations in OIETAI.
